CHEMICAL PEELS
Types of Chemical Peels
If achieving smoother and younger skin is a primary goal, we might advise the patient to consider a chemical peel. This process uses a chemical solution to smooth the texture of your skin by removing the damaged outer layers. A chemical peel is especially helpful around the eyes and lips, but it can also reduce wrinkles around the entire face. It may improve abnormal skin coloration, as well. Peels range from very superficial, causing no significant skin irritation to deep. The deeper peels generally require some downtime but will lead to longer-lasting results.
