Microdermabrasion improves mild to moderate sun damage, scarring, and wrinkles and refines skin texture, painlessly and effectively. This process stimulates new cell growth, as well as strengthening the underlying collagen. Microdermabrasion is often performed in conjunction with other skin renewal procedures, such as laser treatment and chemical peels.  Multiple treatments are recommended for full effect.  Patients are asked to discontinue any exfoliation for 3-5 days prior to treatment to minimize irritation.
